07/07/2015 · i tried both the plexi drive and the cm plexitone s. both had a whole lot of hi’s and bass and zero mids. they sounded amazing at home/by yourself, but that same night i took them to a gig and quickly realized that tone translated to not cutting through in a band setting. aside from that their od was ok. no fizzy nastiness like an ocd. i went back to my old faithful: barber direct drive!
